Jewel finished the BS in Commerce course and did administration work for several years.
When she earned the Master of Arts in Psychology degree, she worked as a guidance counsellor at Central Philippine University primary school. While working as a guidance counsellor, she finished a university research on parental involvement and children’s academic achievement.
Jewel worked as a web content writer. She wrote articles and blogs on various topics using keywords to promote businesses online.
Moving to Timaru, Jewel studied Cookery at Ara Institute of Canterbury. After finishing the course, she started her own café business and operated it for four years.
Jewel brings along her varied work experiences, knowledge, and skills to the Climate Adaptation Platform team as a researcher.
