The infographic “Climate Finance 2018” that the Asian Development Bank published on 20 March 2019 revealed their commitment to finance climate change-related projects between 2019 to 2030. ADB assures at least 75 per cent will be allocated to Climate adaptation and mitigation developments.

The investments will go to cleaner technology, green infrastructure, and transition into low-carbon industries.  

Climate funds will cover the following sectors: Energy which will account for 41% of the funding, followed by transportation at 22%, Water-16%, Agriculture-13%, Finance-5%, and other sectors such as education and health-2%.
