2021 Marsh Taituarā Risk Management Forum

The online forum is designed to provide New Zealand councils practical advice for managing the risks and impact of climate change.

James Hughes from Tonkin+Taylor will speak at the Marsh Risk Management Forum. He will share four key strategies that councils should take to adapt to climate change and to manage risks that come with major disruptions.

The 2021 forum will consist of four sessions from 22 to 25 March 2021.

Speakers from New Zealand’s local government and private institutions will discuss the following topics and much more:

• The big picture and risk – local government reforms and ongoing risk issues
• People risks and the pandemic
• Insurance strategies
• Calculating maximum probable loss
• Enhancing resilience to natural hazard risk
• The Auditor-General’s work on risk management

The cost for this event is $750+GST per council.
