Free E-Learning on Green Investment Instruments and Other Courses

A free online course on powering green investments or renewable energy is now available.  

As the world pushes for economic and social recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, this course will offer policymakers and general learners timely understanding to help boost clean energy and achieve climate targets.

Dina Azhgaliyeva, an ADBI research fellow and the course’s lead instructor, said that despite the shadow and uncertainty the pandemic cast on the transition from carbon to renewables, there is real potential for growth in renewables and a decarbonised economy.   

The course Green Investments: Renewable Energy examines investment in renewable energy and renewable energy policies. 

It is divided into three units:

• Investment in Renewable Energy,
• The Role of Government Policies and
• Source of Renewable Energy Financing.
